This cable is NOT compatible with the M16 dimming port found on older Gen 2 fixtures (see Connector Legend below). This cable uses an M12 (metal screw-on) connector; if your power supply uses an M16 (plastic push-lock) then you will need to use an M16 FLEX cable or an M12 to M16 adapter. This cable cannot be used with Gen 1 fixtures (SPYDRx, SPYDRx PLUS, RAZR or RAY).

One T-Connector is required for every light in a series. Use a 5′ cable if fixtures are mounted less than 5′ apart, or a 10′ cable for greater spacing. Use a 20′ 4-output cable to connect 4 fixtures in a series that will be mounted less than 5′ apart (more affordable than purchasing (4) individual 5′ cables).

DC FLEX DIMMING CABLE SYSTEM

These cables provide a low-cost solution to connect multiple power supplies for dimming. When grouped, independent dimming control zones are formed, organized, and isolated in case of problematic environmental factors.

This 1-T Cable is 5 feet in length. The Max DC Volt rating is 12V. The Max DC Current rating is 7A. The connector end 1 is a threaded female M12 4-pin. The connector end 2 is a threaded male M12 4-pin. The connector T drop end is a threaded female M12 3-pin. The cord type is AWM UL 21996/UL 22190 2X20 AWG/ 0.5mm², plus drain. The maximum quantity is up to 50 connected light fixtures per branch. The rated mA capacity of the light controller/dimmer used may support fewer fixtures per branch. The maximum distance between the first and last light fixtures is 200-300 feet. A single-point shield grounding to earth is recommended.

Connector Legend:

• M12 – Latest connector type, found on most new SPYDR 2, VYPR 3 and RAZRm fixtures
• M16 Push Lock – Predecessor of the M12, this connector type was used on all SPYDR 2 and VYPR 2 fixtures prior to the M12 introduction
• M16 Twist Lock – This connector is used on most SPYDRx and VYPRx fixtures, and all RAZRx and RAY fixtures
• 3.5mm Jack – This connector was used on some the oldest first generation SPYDRx and VYPRx fixtures
