From broad white to high red, Fluence PhysioSpec is offering BROAD and DUAL spectrum options on VYPR Series. This flexibility prioitizes the grower’s needs in optoimizing spectral content and light levels for any crop, at any growth stage, in any geographic location.
PhysioSpec ™ BROAD Spectra
The PhysioSpec™ BROAD Spectra offers photon emission across the PAR 400-700nm continuous wavelength range, balancing energy efficiency with quality of light for desired plant response and human work environment.
PhysioSpec ™ DUAL Spectra
The PhysioSpec™ DUAL Spectra features two narrow spectral bands that maximize energy efficiency, aiming to further reduce energy cost and operational expense.
All VYPR models are dimmable for precise control over PPFD and offer flexibility to instantly accommodate a new crop with varying light requirements.
Recommended mounting height is ≥ 24” (61cm) above the canopy. BGH (and Fluence) both recommend a mounting height of approx. 3.5′ above canopy, which will cover 16-18 sq ft and achieve approx. 950 PPFD. We do not recommend using the VYPR as a single light source, it’s primarily designed to be used in large rooms where many VYPR’s will be needed/deployed.
Plug Type Options:
- NEMA 5-15P: This is the standard plug type for most residential (110/120V) outlets in the U.S.
- NEMA 6-15P: This is the standard plug type for most commercial (220/240V) outlets in the U.S.
- NEMA L7-15P: This is a twist-lock plug that is usually meant for outlets with voltages that are 220V or higher.
- Pigtails: If you choose this option there will be no plug at the end of the power cord, only bare wires. This option is normally chosen if the fixture will be hard-wired to your power source.
Mounting Hardware Options:
- VYPR Wire Hangers: These standard mounting options include Pipe, Unistrut and Square wire hangers. Ideal for mounting under the truss or pairing with chain or cable to suspend the fixture lower.
- Combo Mount: Stacking the light fixture and power supply under the truss allows individual VYPRs to be close to one another without a second support structure for hanging the power supplies (for AC input voltage 277-480V only).
- PSU2 Surface Mount: Mounting the power supply above the truss increases VYPR’s distance to crops for better light uniformity, and allows VYPRs to be close to one another without a second support structure for hanging the power supplies (for AC Input Voltage 277-480 V only).
- VYPR Parallel to Truss Mount: This mounting option maximizes light fixture’s distance to crops for better light uniformity, and clears the space under the truss for operating other equipment.
- VYPR Perpendicular to Truss Mount: This mounting option allows the fixture to hang perpendicular to the truss to be in parallel to high-wire crop rows, providing better light uniformity without installing additional support structure.
DC Cord Options: The power supply is connected to the fixture using a DC Cord. A pair of Power Supply Mounts is included with every fixture, which are ideal for pipes but wide enough for Unistrut as well.

Warranty:
All VYPR 3 systems are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for five years with projected lifetime of 50,000 operating hours to 90 percent of initial flux.
Return Policy:
Fluence lighting products are non-returnable. From Fluence – “Since all lighting systems depreciate with use (including the sun), we do not accept returns or exchanges on any lighting products. We do, however, offer a warranty guaranteeing our products for three years.”
